Name: Sailor Ryujin
Affiliation: Senshi
Symbol: water dragon rising from waves

Physical description: Ryujin's fuku colors are black and indigo, complemented by the usual white of the normal Senshi fuku. The sailor collar and skirt are in indigo, while the bow on the front and the choker are black. The top is white, ending just below the ribcage to show off Ryujin's toned stomach. White gloves end at the elbow, edged with a wide black stripe. White boots with an inch heel are knee high and also have the same wide black stripe. While in Senshi form, Ryujin's hair is braided about the crown in a sort of circlet, the rest falling down her back. Her tiara is platinum, the oval a polished piece of mother of pearl.

Transformation: Kit throws her henshin wand into the air and yells, "Dragon of the tides, bring forth Ryujin!" The wand bursts into a spray of sea foam, raining down upon her body and engulfing her in a whirling, churning column of water. At the same time, a black sea dragon winds its way around the water column, slowly disappearing into the crest of the waves. A burst of light breaks from the center of the column, and the waves abruptly part, reforming the henshin wand in Ryujin's raised right hand.

Powers
Powers of the Tides (two power slots): Ryujin's henshin wand bears a ring of stone on either end. A polished piece of obsidian wraps around the bottom, while a ring of mother of pearl encircles the top. These two stones allow her to summon a wave of water no greater than twenty square feet, with a depth of no more than two feet. The wave may be used to attack an enemy or act as a shield. To summon the water, Ryujin points the bottom of the henshin wand at the ground and yells, "Ooshio!" (Ooshio is Japanese for "flood tide.") Summoning the water takes a total of fifteen seconds, and any distraction in that time can cause her to lose the wall completely. It takes no extra movement to keep the wall stationary; however, to move the wall, she must direct the top of the wand towards her target. This requires complete concentration, and any distraction will cause her to lose control over the wave. To properly end the wave, Ryujin must point the top of the henshin wand at the wave and yell, "Hikishio!" (Hikishio translates to "ebb tide.") This allows the wave to be returned without additionally taxing Ryujin's energy.

Ryujin can maintain either wave for a maximum of five minutes before it dissipates. If she properly returns the wave, she must only rest for half an hour before summoning the wave again. If the wave falters through distraction or prolonged use, then she must wait three hours before using this ability.

As a simple wall of water, the wave can deflect some projectile attacks, but will let smaller denser objects through (e.g. bullets, throwing stars, arrows aimed at a direct angle). It is most effective against large scale attacks that spread themselves over a wide surface area, notably fire and earth elemental attacks. Sonic and electrical attacks may help or hinder the wall, depending upon how they are aimed and how potent they are. The wave itself can be blocked by physical barriers and magic attacks. A more potent fire or wind attack would send it off course if moving, and weaken it considerably if stationary. As a moving wave, Ryujin can maneuver the wave a maximum distance of thirty feet from where she stands. If she is standing still and moving the wave, she can move it at a rate of five feet per second. If she is moving while the wave is in motion, the wave's speed is reduced to three feet per second. Of course, losing control of the wave means that a massive wall of water will collapse at the point of loss, and any momentum that it possesses will carry through. So, if Ryujin is drawing the wave back and is distracted, it's highly probable that the wave will come crashing down upon her and her teammates. The most that the water would do (assuming it's not electrically charged or carrying debris) is knock Ryujin down and soak her to the skin.

Tidal Dragon Strike: To summon this power, Ryujin pumps her right fist into the air, screaming, "Tidal Dragon Strike!" A font of water shoots up behind her, taking the form of a massive snake-like water dragon no greater than ten feet in length. With her other hand, Ryujin can direct this attack at a target at a distance of no more than twenty feet away. As long as her left hand remains pointed at the target, then the dragon will most likely hit its mark; however, if Ryujin is distracted, the dragon may veer off course. The effect of the dragon hitting its target is that of a fire hose turned on full blast, and can conceivably knock a person unconscious. The dragon may be destroyed by magic attacks, and fire attacks will send it off course. Any electrical attack will merely supercharge this dragon, and could cause it to be more destructive. Ryujin may summon this attack once every four hours; it is a sort of desperation attack, and if she attempts to summon the dragon twice in a four hour time period, she will collapse unconscious and revert to civilian form, requiring a full day's rest.

Weapons: None, although her henshin wand is necessary to use her Powers of the Tides attack or defense.

Items: Aside from her henshin wand, none.

Strengths: Quick, decisive, and determined, Kit is excellent in a tight situation. She can assess a situation and propose a solution in a relatively short period of time. In addition, she is quite physically fit and can hold her own in a fistfight. She's unafraid to charge into new situations, and hesitation, if any, is minimal.

Weaknesses: Kit is headstrong to a fault, and doesn't take other people's suggestions to heart if she has an idea of her own. She often acts first and thinks later, having little regard for anyone but herself. Finally, she is a new Senshi and not very good with her powers, so practice is in order... but, not being good at something often means that she avoids practice.
